Family Mediation Booking

If you want to organise family mediation or even if you just want to:

  • find out more about mediation;
  • avoid the lengthy wait times often associated with a government subsidised service; and
  • avoid Court!

Then book a time for us to have a chat.  If you are unsure if this is the right option for you (and you haven’t spoken with us about this before), you can book a free initial chat here

Please note that we are a private mediation firm so there will be fees associated with any mediation we conduct.

How do I organise family mediation?

Family mediation is a great way to discuss issues you have with your ex when it comes to finalising parenting or property matters.  It can also be a great way to check you are both on the same page when it comes to co parenting.

To organise a family mediation the first thing you need to do is book an appointment to chat with us.  During this appointment we will get details of what is going on.  Then, we will provide you with our mediation & fee agreement.  Once this has been returned we can send an invitation to the other party.

For a full outline of the mediation process make sure you download our mediation process guide which you can find here.

Who Pays for the Mediation?

Usually both of you will share the costs of the mediation but this isn’t always the case.  One of you may wish to get the mediation organised quickly.  In which case you should consider paying the full cost of the mediation.  That being said, the fees you pay for this appointment will come off your contribution towards the total mediation fees.
